Who is the better cook? Bill, 100%. He also enjoys cooking, which Charlotte cannot say the same. But, no matter if it's takeout or a home cooked meal, Charlotte plates the dish. According to Charlotte, Bill does not do it "right."Who is more likely to be late? Neither. Both were raised to be punctual (if not early), and Charlotte has her infamous 100 alarms that remind her of where she needs to be in the getting-ready process.Who is the planner, and who is more spontaneous? Charlotte is the planner and Bill is more spontaneous. Ironically, Bill is definitely younger at heart.Who is more competitive? Both. Two lawyers dating makes things interesting!Describe your first kiss. Bill and Charlotte were out for lunch. Charlotte had just finished a big plate of scallops. Bill thought that was the perfect time, with Charlotte regretting every bite she took during lunch, to initiate their first kiss.If your partner were a cocktail, what would they be? Charlotte is a Negroni. Per Bill, "Italian, classic, with a hidden punch." Bill is a Mai Tai. According to Charlotte, "warm and inviting, adventurous yet sophisticated."What is your most memorable travel mishap together? Definitely their Ireland June of 2025 trip. (1) Their connecting flight from Charlotte, NC to Dublin, Ireland was delayed over 6 hours, 4 of which were spent on the tarmac. Charlotte fell asleep and woke up 4 hours later, looked Bill in the eyes and asked if they were close to landing. They hadn't left yet. (2) Bill reacquainted himself with the notion of driving through a "six-exit" (his words) roundabout. His response? Closing his eyes and yelling "Jesus, take the wheel." (3) During their return flight, they arrived at the airport 2 hours before departure and yet somehow almost missed their flight.

The Couple 

Charlotte and Natalia technically met in undergrad at the University of Florida, but it was not until law school at Wake Forest that they became inseparable. There is nothing that can bond two girls quite like a love of sweet treats and the trauma of law school. 

Natalia Nino

Melissa and Charlotte have known each other (and been childhood besties!) since 8th grade Broadcasting. A partner-in-crime since middle school, Melissa and Charlotte have shared many secrets and endless laughter over the last decade and a half. 

Melissa Munilla

Sofia, Natalia's quasi-cousin, and Charlotte met during Natalia's bridal era. They bonded over a mutual love of carbohydrates and reading smut books on Kindle.  

Sofia Tavera

Bill and Joe became friends early at law school. They even lived together for a time. Like Ben, Bill and Joe were part of a group of friends that did everything together during their time in Miami. Eventually, Joe moved back to North Carolina, but they stayed friends ever since, helped by the Tortugas Dobles text chain and occasional guys trip. They are always looking for the next great tiki bar.

Joe Bass

Bill and Ben were friends at first sight when two guys from the Midwest met the first week of school at a party in Miami, looked around, and said "shots?" They ended up talking about Big Ten football the rest of the night. Ben has been a best friend since. While it has gotten harder to see their friends as time has gone by, they still find time to see each other a few times per year at Florida Panthers or Miami Dolphins games.

Ben Bean

Bill and Ryan went to law school together where they knew each other through mutual friends. They became close after law school when they formed a text group called Tortugas Dobles, along with Ben and Joe, to discuss music playlists and cocktails. That turned into an ongoing friendship where they talk daily about all things in life, including the newest concert seen or cocktail found.
